Talaya Grimes is a Filmmaker Producer, Production/Project Manager, Arts Administrator, and Teaching Artists.
She has an unique background in media and event production, international development and philanthropy, nonprofit administration and communications, and art education. She has worked on productions for at Smithsonian Networks, National Geographic, Discovery Channel, and Scholastic.
She has also produced for independent documentaries, short films, and stage plays. She earned her B.A. in Government & Politics with a Spanish Minor from the University of Maryland in College Park and her M.A. in Media Studies from The New School University in New York City.
